One credit per unique record
Data credits pay for chargeable property details and person reports. Properties and people are counted separately. A property plus two people can use one property credit and two person credits. A person with several phone numbers or email addresses still counts as one person.
What uses credits
- Revealing owner phone numbers and emails.
- Exporting chargeable property details or person reports.
- Enriching records through the API, CLI, connected tools or AI Chat.
Address and location fields such as property address, APN, mailing address and coordinates do not use a property credit. The requested fields determine whether a property record is chargeable.
What stays free
Browsing and searching do not spend credits. Count requests and cost estimates are free. Re-accessing the same chargeable record in the same billing cycle does not charge it again.
Your billing cycle
Your included allowance and available balance appear in Billing Settings. The allowance refreshes with the billing cycle, and deduplication is scoped to that cycle. See current plans for included amounts.
When your credits run out
Do not expect automatic per-credit overages. A chargeable request can stop at your remaining balance. The API returns a credit-limit error when there is no available balance, or a partial page when only some records can be paid for. Review the API guide for how to retry a partial page without skipping records.
Review upgrade options in Billing Settings or wait for the next billing cycle before requesting more paid data.
Check the cost first
Use the cost estimate for a planned API request before retrieving data. Counts let you check how many records match without spending credits.
